Location: Mission Viejo, CA
DUKE CRM has been contracted to perform a Phase II test excavation program at two prehistoric archaeological sites: CA-ORA-507 & 641. The work includes background research, a research design/work plan, archaeological excavation, laboratory analysis, Native American consultation, and preparing a detailed technical report. The report will be reviewed by the City of Mission Viejo, Army Corps of Engineers, and SHPO.

DUKE CRM is providing cultural and paleontological resource services. The work included the preparation of a Caltrans format Archaeological Survey Report, Native American consultation, Historic Property Survey Report, APE Map, and a Paleontological Identification Report.

Project: California Avenue Improvements Project
Client: City of Long Beach and Galvin Preservation Associates, Inc.
Location: City of Long Beach
DUKE CRM provided cultural resource services. The work included a records search, field survey, Native American consultation, and the preparation of a Caltrans format Archaeological Survey Report. The results of the assessment were negative, meaning that no archaeological resources were identified and there were no delays to the project.
Project: Palomar Mountain Fuels Modification
Client: Palomar Mountain Fire Safe Council
Location: Palomar Mountain, San Diego County
Under contract to the Palomar Mountain Fire Safe Council, DUKE CRM conducted a Phase I archaeological survey of 11.5 acres. The survey report was completed quickly and was accepted by the Palomar Mountain Fire Safe Council and the BLM without any comments.
